Pfau & Company Realtors began as a personal decision, not a business plan. After years inside larger real estate and industry firms, we wanted something different — the freedom to remain personally involved and build relationships that extended beyond a single transaction. In 2000, we opened our own brokerage with that goal in mind.

Since then, Pfau & Company Realtors has represented clients in more than 800 closed transactions across Central Texas. That experience spans multiple market cycles and a wide range of property types, from neighborhood homes, new construction, homes on acreage, and rural land throughout the Hill Country.

Being independent allows us to shape our work around accountability, consistency, and doing things the right way — even when it takes more time. Our business has grown steadily through referrals and long-standing relationships, just as we intended.

As a husband-and-wife team, we work side by side on every transaction. Clients work directly with us from start to finish, not a rotating group of assistants or team members. That structure supports clearer communication, steadier guidance, and more confident decision-making.

We’ve spent our lives in Central Texas and the surrounding Hill Country, watching communities develop and change. That background shapes how we advise clients — balancing opportunity, timing, and long-term perspective.

A Touch of Local Life

Our home sits on our family ranch just outside of Liberty Hill, near the small town of Bertram, where the pace is slower and life feels more grounded.  Living here reflects the lifestyle many of our clients value: space, privacy, and a strong connection to place. 

While this is where we live, our work regularly takes us across Central Texas and the Hill Country. We help clients evaluate location as carefully as the property itself—whether that means a neighborhood close to daily conveniences or more room away from the crowds. Wherever that decision leads, we stay directly involved and actively engaged in the markets we serve, accountable from the first conversation and available as a long-term resource.
